our story + how we got here

After many years of coordinating a local running program, volunteering with various youth-serving organizations, and always wanting to do more, Kylie Schell founded Encompass Recreation in August of 2022.

Fueled by immense support and encouragement from the community, Kylie, a special needs mom x2, licensed social worker, and all around enneagram three, was motivated to take the leap into the world of inclusive recreational opportunities for youth, and thus, Encompass Recreation was founded.
